Key Terms
Broadcast: any message flow you send to donors. The Broadcasts page lists all of them in one table. There are two types:
Campaign: a one-time scheduled send to a segment — a newsletter, an appeal, an announcement. A campaign can be a single email or a drip campaign with several spaced-out steps.
Trigger: an automation that fires on events — welcome new donors, win back lapsed donors, follow up on failed payments. Set the rule once and it runs continuously.
Segment: a group of donors a broadcast is sent to. Segments can be a fixed list or a dynamic filter that updates itself.
Brand Kit: your logo, colors, images, tone and voice, and email header and footer, applied to what you send.
Donation Impact: the donations your marketing drove, shown next to each broadcast.
Where It Lives
Marketing has its own section in the dashboard sidebar with three pages: Broadcasts, Segments, and Brand Kit. Sending settings live in Settings under Marketing — see Marketing Setup.
Availability
Marketing is included on the Base plan and above. Your plan determines how many broadcasts can be live at the same time — the Broadcasts page shows where you stand, and you can review plan options in Settings under Billing.
