Fundraising Flag

A fundraising flag is a sticky website tab that prompts visitors to donate and opens your form when clicked.

A fundraising flag is a sticky website tab that prompts visitors to donate and opens your form when clicked.

When To Use This

Use a fundraising flag when you want a persistent fundraising prompt on your website without placing a full form in the page content.

Before You Start

  • Your website needs the CharityStack embed script installed.

  • You need your website URL saved in Settings > Organization.

  • You need a form connected to the flag.

Steps

  1. Open the Create menu.

  2. Choose Element.

  3. Choose Fundraising Flag.

  4. Select the connected form.

  5. Configure the website page or allowed domain.

  6. Save and activate the flag.

Notes

Fundraising Flags are best used as a focused prompt for one primary form on a page. If you need to promote multiple forms from the same page, use a more specific page layout or separate element strategy instead of trying to make one flag serve every campaign.

Allowed and disallowed domains control where the flag should appear. Do not add CharityStack-hosted URLs as allowed domains; use your organization's website domains.

Use a short, action-oriented flag label. The flag should feel like a helpful prompt, not a replacement for the main campaign content on the page.
