URLs and prefilled links let you share payment links that open a form directly, sometimes with selected details already filled in.
Use URLs for shareable direct links to forms. Use prefilled links for personalized outreach, campaign emails, QR codes, or workflows where you already know some contact or form details.
Destination form, including Fundraiser Forms and Event Forms.
Hosted or overlay destination.
Suggested or fixed amount.
Fund or frequency defaults.
Sponsorship group and sponsorship item, when the selected Fundraiser Form uses Sponsorships.
Event ticket, seat, attendee, and purchaser details, when the selected form is an Event Form.
Contact details when appropriate.
UTM fields for campaign tracking.
Custom input answers.
Subscription or scheduled payment defaults when the form supports them.
The builder shows a generated URL that admins can preview, open in a new tab, copy, activate, deactivate, or edit later from Elements.
Do not place sensitive contact information in public links. Treat prefilled links as shareable URLs.
URL sharing may be unavailable while a payment processor is still reviewing your account.
Overlay URLs require your website URL in Settings > Organization. If that website URL changes, copied overlay links should use the current organization website when available.
When prefilled links include contact details or custom input answers, use them for controlled outreach rather than posting them publicly. Anyone with the link may be able to view the prefilled values.
Prefilled amounts must be positive and cannot be more than $1,000,000.
